Montreal, QC (January 30th, 2018) – The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is thrilled to announce their first outgoing donation as an operating business in Montreal. They are seeking new partnerships and relationships with companies and organizations within the province of Quebec. They ensure companies who are in need of secure and socially responsible e-waste management is taken care of. Receiving incoming donations from small to large sized corporation throughout Quebec, the ERA can help charitable organizations who are desperately in need of IT equipment.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Island were the first to receive a donation of a laptop on Monday January 29th. Throughout the next few days the Electronic Recycling Association will be donating to several organizations in celebration of their grand opening on February 12th 2018.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Island provides life changing relationships to children who are struggling. Many children today face challenges such as bullying, low self-esteem, and isolation. They match these children with a positive role model and, through quality one-on-one mentoring, guide them to overcome their obstacles and empower them to reach their full potential, forever changing the child and their community.
“Growing up as an immigrant in Canada a donated laptop or computer went a long way and was very important for day to day tasks like school work, surfing the web and socializing with friends and family from home.” Said Bojan Paduh, Founder and President of the Electronic Recycling Association. “I realize that there are obviously a lot more organizations and individuals like myself who are in need of a donation. We are excited to be a part of bridging the digital divide within the province of Quebec and look forward to the year ahead”.
