St. Catherine School: “A Place of Welcome!”

St. Catherine School is a multi-cultural community that provides a Christ-Centred, Catholic environment.  Inspired by God and based on the teachings of Christ, the school is a welcoming and nurturing setting where students can deepen their relationship with God.  Through the teachings of Christ, students celebrate their belonging, grow in faith and serve God and the community through acts of service. Guided by the Holy Spirit, students are provided with diverse opportunities to learn about the world through academics, the arts, and physical education.

We were delighted to work with this school to provide one of their students with a refurbished laptop. This student is a newcomer to Edmonton and was in need of a laptop to continue his studies at home. He is an ESL student and is working very hard on improving his English language skills.

Due to financial strain, his family was not able to afford a computer so up until now, he would stay behind, after school, to complete any homework that required a computer. Speaking with his teacher Alexandra  Lubisz, she wanted to express her thanks, “Thank you guys so much for this gift! He can now complete required work from home”
