The Electronic Recycling (Reusing) Association announces opening of new office in Edmonton Alberta
Office to better accommodate their clients and make it easier to locate for drop offs of unwanted electronics
Edmonton, AB (August 8th, 2019) – The Electronic Recycling (Reusing) Association (ERA), a nonprofit dedicated to reducing the negative impact e-waste has on our environment, today announced it has moved location in the Edmonton area to Unit 5, 14212 128th Ave to accommodate rapid company growth.
“We have been a part of Edmonton for many years. Providing a valuable service to this city and its surroundings. In addition to keeping electronics out of landfills and off the streets, we will continue to provide opportunities for work experience, volunteer experience and a stable job to members of the community.” said Bojan Paduh, Founder of the ERA. “We are excited to finally open our new depot in Edmonton to ensure our clients’ needs are met. Reuse is an extremely important first step in the technology cycle, and we’re dedicated to extending the life of technology while addressing the digital divide through our donation program. Over the years we have experienced a real need for our services and look forward to continue working with the community of Edmonton to create a cleaner and more sustainable environment.”
ERA’s mission is to reduce electronic waste and the negative impact it has on our environment, and to reuse unwanted computers and related electronic equipment through recovery, refurbishment and computer donation programs. No longer will unwanted electronics be thrown in landfills and not given a second chance. ERA intend on giving these electronics a second chance through their donation and reuse programs which will benefit the local communities.
ERA’s Edmonton depot is located at 14212 128 Ave NW Edmonton, AB T5L 3H5. Equipment can be dropped off at this location for reuse or recycling. Pickup and physical data destruction services can be arranged by calling 780-455-2088 or emailing edmonton@era.ca
