ERA Donates Three Computers to the Volunteer Central Society in Red Deer

The Volunteer Central Society’s mission is to connect organizations, volunteers, and communities through partnerships, education, and resources to strengthen and enhance volunteerism in central Alberta. They believe volunteers are essential to our way of life and have a positive impact on the way our communities grow and succeed because they help build the capacity and resilience of our communities.

This organization:

• offers a listing of opportunities for volunteers
• lists non-profit employment opportunities
• hosts training programs and workshops
• develops corporate programs for volunteers
• promotes and support community events
• builds capacity in the nonprofit sector across central Alberta

Executive Director, Pam Snowdon said, “Thank you to ERA for your generous gifts of a work computer and laptops! These will help us be more efficient at helping the volunteer sector in Central Alberta!”
