Comrie’s Sports Equipment Bank Receives a Laptop

Alberta’s Promise, Connecting Organizations Together For the Better

We have been partners with Alberta’s Promise for over 10 years and were happy to help one of their members, Comrie’s Sports Equipment Bank with IT equipment. This organization was created in 2014 through the generous contributions of Bill Comrie and the Comrie Family.

Their primary goal is to gather, recycle and redistribute equipment at no cost to those kids who would otherwise be denied the opportunity to participate. They help low-income families in need provide opportunities for their kids to be able to pursue their dreams in sport as well as developing healthy and active lifestyles. Lastly, they help kids and families’ access used sports equipment at no cost where a need exists in Southern Alberta.

We were pleased to be able to donate a laptop to the Comrie’s Sports Equipment Bank which will be used by their new summer volunteer to update their SM platforms and work on new and existing programs.
