THREE CHARITIES TO RECEIVE THIRTY DONATED COMPUTERS ON GIVING TUESDAY

The Electronic Recycling Association to present computers to charities in BC, AB and MB

Calgary, AB (November 23, 2016) — The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) will be presenting Harvest Project in Vancouver, Inn from the Cold in Calgary and Riverton & District Friendship Center in Manitoba with donated  computers on November 29^th, which is Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday is a nation-wide initiative that promotes giving-back on the Tuesday immediately following the consumer sales and material focus of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

“We are extremely excited to present these donations on Giving Tuesday. Each of these charities provides essential services for people experiencing hardship, and they are in dire need of technology to keep up” says Bojan Paduh, founder and president of ERA. “It is so important going into the holidays to remember that there are thousands of Canadians struggling right now.  Giving Tuesday is a really positive reminder and great platform through which we can give back.”

Harvest Project will receive 8 computers, Inn from the Cold will receive 11 computers and Riverton & District Friendship Center will receive 14 computers.
