MPP Amarjot Sandhu Joins Forces with the Electronic Recycling Association to Donate Technology to an Organization in Need
Toronto, ON (November 22, 2019) – Lately, the Electronic Recycling Association has become popular when donating laptops or computers to organizations in need by involving respected members of the community. MPP Amarjot Sandhu joins ERA on their mission to reduce the negative impact e-waste has on our environment through the refurbishment and donation of IT devices.
Jehovah, The White Cross is the appointed organization that will be receiving a refurbished laptop to assist them with their ongoing programs. Their mission is to grow and seek the advancement of education, relief of poverty; obtain, provide & distribute vital food and essentials in their four member country service areas (Canada, Liberia, Ghana & Sierra Leone).
Speaking with MPP Amarjot Sandhu of Brampton West, he said, “I am thankful for the Electronic Recycling Association’s work in our communities and for inviting me to participate in this donation. Reducing electronic waste is becoming an increasingly important process and doing it in such a way that it benefits others is really the best possible outcome. I believe this is an outstanding initiative and it has my full support. I would also like to encourage and thank those who have made donations to ERA – making their good work possible.”
