Alberta’s Minister of Health Tyler Shandro Gets involved with ERA Bringing Humanity into Electronics

Society for Treatment of Autism in Calgary will Receive a Donation to help their Mission

Calgary, AB (September 11^th 2019) – The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is excited to announce that they will be holding a donation event with the help of Alberta’s Minister of Health Tyler Shandro who will be making an appearance. The Society for Treatment of Autism will receive a donation of 10 desktops and 1 projector. This donation will be used by their clients and staff. Due to oil and gas prices, government funding has been frozen for several years and donations have decreased rapidly. These donations will replace outdated and broken devices that have become useless.

Speaking with the Society for Treatment of Autism’s, Executive Director & Registered Psychologist, Kimberley Ward, Ph.D. States, “Society for Treatment of Autism is honoured to be receiving this donation from the Electronic Recycling Association. The computers will increase the efficiency of staff and allow them to dedicate more time to the children, youth, adults, and families we serve.  STA is committed to providing quality programs. This donation will certainly help us achieve our goal of enhancing lives across the autism spectrum.”
