VCH Nurse Family Partnership Receives a Laptop

We were excited to donate 1 laptop to the Nurse Family Partnership. They are a free voluntary program connecting public health nurses in BC with young pregnant women from early in their first pregnancy until their child turns 2. They work alongside these young women to improve their health and life course while also promoting their children’s optimal development. Many of the young women enrolled in the program are using their strengths and limited supports to navigate significant challenges in their lives.

The donation of this laptop will greatly enhance one young mother’s ability to communicate with her family, health care professionals and future employers.  “We thank you for the great work you are doing and specifically for making a difference for this specific young mother.” Stated Donna Quail, VCH Nurse Family Partnership Coordinator.
