SWCRC: HELPING FAMILIES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY ACHIEVE SUCCESS

We were thrilled to donate a laptop to the Southwest Communities Resource Centre (SWCRC). This laptop will benefit one of their clients so that they can work to achieve their goals and succeed in life.

The SWCRC was created from the communities need for a local hub that could provide support to vulnerable families. Since the opening of its doors in 2003, they continue to embrace their mandate of supporting, teaching and providing resources and supports when life becomes challenging.

Thousands of individuals, and families alike, have found support at the SWCRC through:

Workshops and speaker series

One-on-one guidance from their community resource workers.

They provide these services through their many community partnerships with other social agencies, community schools and associations, recreation partners, and a group of dedicated volunteers.

Together, they instill hope today for individuals and families and build community bridges for a brighter tomorrow.
